BASIC NOTIONS OF MARIÀ CORBÍ'S THEORETICAL AXIOLOGICAL EPISTEMOLOGICAL DISCIPLINE AND THE DECONSTRUCTION OF MYTHICAL EPISTEMOLOGY AS AN EXPRESSION OF SUBALTERNITY
Main Article Content
Abstract
The present communication aims to reflect important aspects of the discipline of the axiological epistemology of Marià Corbí (2020) and the abandonment of the mythical epistemology as an expression of subalternity. The advent of industrial society and its social transformations had repercussions on the epistemological way of interpreting reality. In these societies, a certain mismatch between the efforts towards technological progress and the development of interpersonal and collective relationships, the welcoming of differences and of what is different, is noticeable. The phenomenon causes acute and powerful impacts on individual and collective lifestyles. This mismatch is perceived in the value systems represented by religious beliefs, through institutions that strengthen conflicts, violence, and the permanence of inconsistent convictions to sustain the demands of contemporaneity that points to solidarity, to joint and sustainable action. We propose to analyze how this reaction becomes incompatible and outdated in the face of the processes of development and social transformation. In this context, the discipline of Marià Corbí's axiological epistemology is relevant to the debates that seek, in a possible way, the updating of belief systems in contemporaneity, since the scenario calls for a single reality centered on multiple and flexible forms, without the condition of subalternity.
