Abstract

Transhumanism – translated into the religion of solutions – preaches a disruptive and counterintuitive belief, death is avoidable, since the end of individual existence does not consist of a determination by God or the gods, but in a defect of the human condition that can be resolved. The target of transhumanism is not what to “do” religiously “being” to live eternally, but what to “do” biotechnologically “solving” to live indefinitely. This article has three objectives: 1) to present the technophile faith; 2) demonstrate how remote and current the search for immortality is; 3) expose ideas and approaches that promote the strengthening of the unshakable techno-scientific optimism of the followers of the religion of solutions. In unity with the objectives, make known the “extropian principles” – those that constitute the founding elements of technophile faith, the ideas and discoveries that give rise to radically non-religious thinking about transcendence and the analogy between transhumanist belief and the “Giza project”. This scientific work aims to demonstrate the following result: “fibiogital”, the masterpiece of the religion of solutions. The specified speciation, “fibiogital”, is the entity that predicts the eradication of diseases and the extension of longevity through the interventions of science and technology.
