Abstract
Por questões de rigor, se fala, hoje, menos de tomismo e mais de estudos tomasianos. As duas coisas não coincidem. Uma coisa é Santo Tomás e seus textos, outra, bem diferente, é o comentário ou a interpretação que, no decorrer dos séculos, foi dada à sua obra. E lá se vão quase 800 anos de leitura, releitura e aprofundamentos. Este estudo propõe-se a apresentar razões por que se deve ainda hoje ler Tomás de Aquino.
