Abstract
A proposta deste artigo é mostrar como a geografia de determinada região interfere e plasma a visão de mundo e os sistemas de crenças dos povos que nela se instalam. Nosso objeto de análise é o Hinduísmo, na forma da chamada “Tríade Hindu” e do deus Ganesha. No artigo, examinamos a influência dos fatores geográficos ao longo do tempo e o papel do cruzamento de sistemas de pensamento oriundos do deserto com os arianos e sua fusão com a região fértil da bacia do rio Ganges. Dessa forma
