Abstract
A religiosidade dos povos indígenas andinos contemporâneos é constituída por uma complexa interação teológica entre os diversos elementos originais e os cristianizados desde os fenômenos e ideologias historicamente produzidas, tais como imposição, interpenetração, extirpação, sincretismo, resistência e reinvenção. Nesse contexto imbricado desenvolveuse como forma de realce identitária uma cosmovisão particular bastante representativa de seus sentimentos e mentalidades a respeito do mundo, sobretudo no que se refere ao seu território e suas vivencias comunitárias marcadas pela reciprocidade e socialização das tradições. Assim, nossa proposta é analisar alguns dos diversos elementos das representações
simbólicas, mitológicas e ritualísticas dessas comunidades, caracterizadas pela oposição entre um persistente domínio do hegemônico e a autonomia criativa.
