Abstract

Resumo

A caminhada no deserto no livro dos Números revela conflitos do povo contra Moisés e contra Deus. Moisés aparece como mediador. Nm 11,1-3 é um enredo de conflito e solução com a intervenção de Moisés. Ele suplica a Deus e o conflito é resolvido. Foi uma experiência paralela a Nm 21,4-9 na qual o povo experimentou a ira divina. A pesquisa visa mostrar a influência de Moisés, sua ligação com Deus e o poder de sua intercessão no contexto das revoltas e castigo do povo. A análise ressalta a importância de Moisés nos enredos de conflito e como sua autoridade é reforçada, pois sua mediação é eficaz. Nesse texto a experiência do castigo ligado à ira que queima deu origem ao nome do lugar: Taberá.

Abstract

The pilgrimage at the desert in the book of Numbers reveals conflicts of people against Moses and against God. Moses appears as a mediator. Num. 11,1-3 is a conflict-solution plot type with an intervention of Moses. He supplicates to God and the conflict is solved. It was an intervention parallel to Num. 21,4-9 on which people experimented divine’s wrath. This research aims to show the influence of Moses, his connection with God and the power of his intersection in the context of people’s revolts and punishment. The analysis shows up the importance of Moses in the plot type of conflicts and how his authority is reinforced, once his mediation is effective. On that text, the experience of punishment regarded to the wrath that burns gave to the place the name of Taberah.
