Abstract

RESUMO

A Teoria do Apego, desenvolvida a partir dos estudos de John Bowlby, oferece uma ampla base conceitual sobre a formação, manutenção e modificação dos vínculos afetivos. No Brasil, não existem estudos sobre esse tema, na perspectiva da Psicologia da Religião. Considerando o impacto da teoria Bowlbyana do apego em diversas áreas da Psicologia, o propósito deste artigo é descrever os principais conceitos da Teoria do Apego e sua aplicação aos estudos em Psicologia da Religião. Quer-se apresentar as principais descobertas sobre a relação entre constituição subjetiva, comportamento religioso à luz dateoria do apego,a fim de estimular a pesquisa na área da Psicologia da Religião, Teologia e ciências da Religião, a partir desse referencial teórico.Sugestões para futuras pesquisas são oferecidas na conclusão deste estudo. ABSTRACT

The Attachment Theory, as developed by John Bowlby, offers a broad conceptual base on the formation, maintenance and transformation of existing affectional bonds. In Brazil, there has not yet been any studybased on this framework from the perspective of psychology of religion. Considering the impact of Bowlby attachment theory in various areas of psychology, the purpose of this article is to describe the main concepts of the attachment theory and its application to the studies in the area of Psychology of Religion. The aim is to present the primary findings on the relationship between the subjective constitution and religious behavior in the light of theattachment theory,in order tostimulate the research in psychology of religion, theology and sciences of religionusing this theoretical framework. Some suggestions for future research are presented in the conclusion.

Mary Rute Gomes Esperandio, PUC PR

graduação em Pedagogia pela Universidade Regional do Noroeste do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul (1992), graduação em Psicologia pela Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos (2003), mestrado em Teologia pela Escola Superior de Teologia (2001) e doutorado em Teologia pela Escola Superior de Teologia (2006). Atualmente é professora adjunta da Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná - PUCPR. Tem experiência na área de docência teológica, com ênfase na interface Psicologia e Teologia, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Subjetividade contemporânea, Processos de subjetivação, Psicologia da Religião,Coping Religioso, Aconselhamento Espiritual. Desenvolve pesquisas em torno do tema da Subjetividade Contemporânea e Religiosidade, Coping Religioso, Aconselhamento.
