Abstract

This article aims to discuss, based in a specific region and in a precise historical frame (Muslim Spain from VIII to XV centuries), the possibility of a dialogic attitude from Islam to others cultures and religions traditions. From this point, the article will begin with the conception of frontier. Then, will focus in the history of the Islamic presence in this region. Finally, will center in the presentation of some achievements in cultural, artistic and scientific plans, resulting of cultural exchange, inter religious tolerance and mutual collaboration, pointing out to a certain “Convivencia” that take place in this period.
