This paper proposes an analysis of the work A Visit from the Goon Squad in conjunction with other media, such as digital technologies and music. To do so, the evolution of technologies and their dialogue with various artistic productions are discussed in order to articulate the narrative construction of the novel and the new forms of reading it claims for. For this purpose, the penultimate chapter of the work, entitled “Great Rock and Roll Pauses, by Alison Blake”, is used as the focus of this analysis, in which the appropriation of the slide format provides subsidies to discuss the use of visual elements from other technologies in the narrative and how it is done to integrate aspects of music into the work.
