“O Meu Pé de Laranja lima”: semiótica e figuratividade

Abstract

Taking into account that the literary text can be a fertile field for philosophical-linguistic thoughts, we condition several treatments given to it, clarifying poetic creativity and, above all, the construction of meaning. Thus, this article, in general, aims to present an analysis of discursive semiotics in an articulation with the literary text. Specifically, we intend to highlight the meaning, highlighting the figures that summon the theme of fantasy in the work "O Meu Pé de Laranja Lima" (1968), by José Mauro de Vasconcelos. The justification for the analysis is based on the aspectualization of fantasy, as the theme that sensitizes readers, especially those we have contact with in the formation of readers during the teaching practice. In this perspective, the construction of the investigation is constituted through excerpts from the work that show the nature of fanciful isotopies capable of characterizing the values inserted in the discourse. This occurs through the narrative paths in which the thematic thread is consolidated, legitimizing the factual aspect and a mode of truth (DISCINI, 2004). In this way, taking into account the content, based on discursive structures - it is intended to expose the figurative dimension of the utterance under analysis (BERTRAND, 2003). Therefore, we seek to contribute to the studies of the literary text and to the semiotic conception of figurativity in particular.
