This article aims to build a relationship between two Mozambican writers based on the texts present in Sangue Negro (2018), by Noemia de Sousa, and Niketche: Uma História de Poligamia (2022), by Paulina Chiziane. Some categories of analysis were listed to carry out the comparison: oralities in texts from endogenous cultures; poetic voices, as well as the narrator’s position in fiction; experience and contamination of the real in the fictional text. The objective of the article is to discuss the permanence and changes in Mozambican literature written by women in historical times ranging from colonial to post-independence. What brings the two writers who lived in different times together? Is it possible to approach the language (rhythm, figures, images, punctuation and others) and the topics (place of the feminine, freedom, oppression, world of work and others) raised in their respective texts? How do they dialogue with the historical moments experienced by the authors and the formation of Mozambican literature throughout this period? The text will begin with a set of questions to seek contact possibilities with a view to bringing them closer together, as well as integration with Portuguese-speaking readers. Finally, in the final considerations, some conclusive hypotheses will be presented, as well as further investigative alternatives that can be developed.
