Ethical commitments
The editors and reviewers who work in the journal commit themselves to:
1) evaluate the works submitted in an impartial and technical way dedicating themselves to its contents, without discrimination of any nature.
2) to ensure the confidentiality of the collaborations sent by the authors, not only during the evaluation period, but also in case the work is refused.
The evaluators also undertake to:
1) inform the publishers immediately if they find that the submitted work expresses substantial content already published - either by the author or by third parties - through affirmations, arguments or reproduction of excerpts.
The authors are fully responsible for the veracity and suitability of their research and also for ensuring that the methodologies used respect ethical implementations, whether with animals or human beings.
The authors also commit themselves to:
1) give credit to all the sources that are used as a base to their work. All information must be followed by its respective bibliographic references, thus indicating its origin and when using a literal quotation from another author, it should be in quotation marks.
2) seek to present the exact meaning of the concepts or findings presented by the original author.
3) indicate, in the manuscript submitted, presence of data previously found and / or partially published in previous articles. In order to avoid a possible configuration of self-plagiarism, the author must always quote and reference, within the norms, his own previous research.
4) make sure that all quotations throughout the text correspond to a primary bibliographic reference. If the author needs to quote a secondary source in order to describe the content of a primary source it is necessary to ensure that the information is right and that the original source is always indicated. When it is necessary to use information from another source, the author has the obligation to make it clear to the reader which contributions belong to him and which come from outside sources.
