Abstract

O artigo apresenta alguns dos resultados da pesquisa “Egressos do Jornalismo / UFU no mercado de trabalho” (SOARES, 2015), realizada em 2014 com os profissionais formados na primeira e segunda turmas do Curso de Comunicação Social: Habilitação em Jornalismo da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia. Os resultados a serem discutidos procuram demonstrar a fragilização da noção de categoria profissional entre jornalistas neófitos a partir de suas percepções sobre condições de trabalho, satisfação e dificuldades, registro profissional, obrigatoriedade do diploma, sindicalização e necessidade de autorregulamentação.
