Desvendando o contemporâneo: o papel do jornalista-autor de livros-reportagem

Abstract

O trabalho do jornalista-autor de livros-reportagem situa-se em um campo específico do jornalismo devido às suas especificidades mais autorais. Ainda que compartilhem elementos da cultura profissional dos colegas que trabalham em redações hierarquizadas, esses profissionais contam com um prazo mais dilatado para realizar entrevistas; pesquisar material documental; trabalhar o texto final e mesmo para buscar angulações diferenciadas das lupas do factual ou dos valores-notícia. Exemplos de “apresentações” e “agradecimentos” no corpo do texto de livros-reportagem, ou seja, pistas dos discursos dos próprios autores sobre os seus métodos ajudam a caracterizá-los como membros de um grupo que comunga os valores universais do jornalismo, mas com características peculiares de autonomia e autoria.
