Abstract

A rebelião no Complexo Penitenciário Anísio Jobim (Compaj) em Manaus, no início de 2017, é considerada a segunda maior chacina carcerária da história do Brasil. Durante o massacre os presidiários produziram e divulgaram vídeos pelas redes sociais da internet. Neste artigo propomos uma reflexão com abordagem ecossistêmica, baseados nos estudos de Monteiro (2015), Capra (2014) e apontamentos contextuais, sinalizando, acerca da midiatização, os efeitos da crise no sistema penitenciário, ocasionando a estetização da violência na sociedade cibercultural que, devido à rapidez da comunicação em rede, não filtra o que vai ser disseminado, e assim percebemos algumas relações desse fenômeno com o processo sócio histórico do país.
