The present study aims at analyzing the speech on Instagram and Twitter of President Jair Bolsonaro, about Covid-19, from the perspective of post-truth. In the present work we observed which messages were triggered by Bolsonaro and how he addresses the Pandemic and the Brazilian context, in his official social networks. The analysis conducted through the Content Analysis (BARDIN, 2011) brings as a time cut the period from June 20 to July 20, 2020. In that period, Brazil surpassed the mark of 50 thousand deaths by Covid-19, became the new epicenter of the pandemic and there was also confirmation of the contamination of Bolsonaro by the virus. Thus, one can perceive the president’s denialist stance towards the pandemic scenario, as well as the attack on the scientific and journalistc fields, which uses important desinformation and silencing to make his ideas prevail.
