Author Biographies

Francine Altheman, ESPM

Doutora em Comunicação Social pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG). Sua tese foi selecionada pelo PPGCOM da UFMG (Capes 6) como a melhor do ano de 2020. Ganhou também o Prêmio Compós de Teses Eduardo Peñuela - 2021, prêmio concedido pela Associação Nacional de Programas de Pós-Graduação em Comunicação à melhor tese na área de Comunicação. Mestra em Comunicação na Contemporaneidade pela Faculdade Cásper Líbero. Graduada em Comunicação Social - Jornalismo - pela Universidade Estadual Paulista (Unesp). Fez especialização em Jornalismo Científico pelo Núcleo José Reis de Divulgação Científica da Escola de Comunicação e Arte da USP. Supervisora de Estágio e Professora do Curso de Jornalismo da Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing (ESPM). 

Jorge Cardoso Filho, UFRB

É docente do Centro de Artes, Humanidades e Letras da Universidade Federal do Recôncavo da Bahia - UFRB, em cursos de graduação e no PPGCOM. Também tem atuado como colaborador no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Comunicação e Cultura Contemporâneas, UFBA. Foi pesquisador visitante na Universität Passau, com bolsa concedida pelo DAAD, entre junho e julho de 2021 e foi selecionado, no mesmo ano, para a Africa Multiple Cluster of Excellence, da Universität Bayreuth, onde atuou entre maio e julho de 2022. Jornalista graduado pela UFBA (2004), mestre em Comunicação e Cultura Contemporâneas pela UFBA (2006) e doutor em Comunicação pela UFMG (2010). Realizou estágio doutoral (sandwich) sob a supervisão de Martin Seel, na Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main (2009). Membro da IASPM - Rama América-Latina e da INTERCOM. Coordena o Grupo de Estudos em Experiência Estética: Comunicação e Artes (GEEECA). Autor e organizador de livros, entre os quais se destacam: Práticas de Escuta do Rock (2013), Experiência Estética e Performance (2014), Comunicação, Estética e Política (2020) e Performances em contextos midiáticos: MTV BR Rock SSA (2022).
