Abstract

Originally published in Concreta magazine, this interview brings together philosopher Andrea Soto Calderón and filmmaker Laura Citarella, who discuss the political dimension of fiction and contemporary image production. Taking the film Trenque Lauquen as its central axis, the dialogue examines the practices of the El Pampero Cine collective, highlighting the role of intuition, mystery, and openness to the unforeseen.

Andrea Soto Calderón, Universidade Autônoma de Barcelona

Realizou doutorado em Filosofia (UAB) e sua tese é intitulada “El discurso sobre las imágenes em el pensamento de Jacques Rancière”. É docente no curso de graduação em Filosofia da Universidade Autônoma de Barcelona (UAB), onde leciona as disciplinas “Estética” e “Filosofia e cinema”, e no departamento de Ciências Humanas da Universidad Pompeu Fabra, onde leciona a disciplina “Temas Fundamentales de la Filosofia”. Na pós-graduação, é professora do curso de Mestrado em Pesquisa em Arte e Desenho do Centre Universitari de Disseny da Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona.
