This paper examines how emo nostalgia was used as an engagement strategy in the 2024 I Wanna Be Tour festival. The analysis combines theoretical review, observation of promotional actions, and study of audience reception on digital platforms. It explores how aesthetic, affective, and identity elements were activated to recreate memories of the 2000s and stimulate participation. The results show that nostalgia acted as an emotional force that strengthened the connection between fans and the event. The study also identifies tensions related to the commercialization of memory and the exclusion of part of the audience. It concludes that the festival created an immersive experience in which past and present converge, highlighting the role of nostalgia in contemporary culture and consumption.
