This article analyzes how BBC News Brazil adapted its coverage of Jair Bolsonaro's trial at the The Brazilian Supreme Court (STF) for TikTok in September 2025. The objective is to understand how journalism adapts to digital platform formats in political coverage, seeking engagement without compromising credibility. The research uses platformized journalism styles from Longhi (2025) and content analysis from Bardin (2011). Videos from the five-day trial that resulted in a 27-year prison sentence were analyzed. The results identify the predominance of the "Small Stories" format and suggest a new format called "Source-centered Small Stories," organized around statements with minimal editorial interference. The conclusions point to new narrative strategies in journalism on short-video platforms.
