Abstract
of a new evangelization, Francis calls Catholics and invites Christians and people of good will to dream, in the light of faith and in the Word of
God, with an Amazon that defends the rights of the natives and their inhabitants; that preserves the richness of the cultures that resist there;
that preserves the natural beauty so threatened and embraces the gospel of liberation that denounces injustices and unlimited exploitation.
This is the Pope's dream! The document "Dear Amazon" points to a new evangelization and a new Church with an ecological face: a project of hope
for society, culture, the environment and the Church.
