The need for men and women of enlightened and well-founded faith in politics has become preponderant in the contemporary world. One lives in a context in which many are hopeless and no longer believes in politics. In the Christian perspective, faith is translated by the practice of love and is nourished by hope. It is not possible to dream of a better quality of life, in a personal and collective scope, if there are not faithful people in politics, imbued with this mission. Its work is done through reflection, celebration, deepening and study, in groups, seminars, retreats and meetings, with the main motto, currently, the Culture of Well-Living. The objective of this work, based on the bibliographic material of MF & P and other researchers, was to analyze the context of the birth and development of MF & P in Brazil. To attain that, it was identified the editorial production and the history of the meetings and seminars, from the phases of the movement, until the present time, when the movement included the Culture of WellLiving in 2011 as its new ethical and political horizon. The methodology used was a literature reviewing and analysis of both printed published material but also the digital form, on the Movement website, and in publications of members that are part of the MF & P. It can be concluded that, through its history, publications and regional and national meetings, the movement has opened up perspectives on new ways of doing politics, which contemplate and reinforce attention to ethics, care, dignity and social justice. It is a dynamic movement that contributes as a way for a new society enjoy its fundamental rights.
