A new discernment criterion
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article aims to present a new discernment criterion for pneumatological inter-religious dialogue. To do so, we have considered the discernment criterions proposed by Jacques Dupuis, Stanley Samartha, Amos Yong and Jürgen Moltmann in their inter-religious dialogue attempts. It was possible to realize that there are some limitations in their proposals, such as, the absence in consider the life of nature. Therefore, based on Moltmann’s pneumatology it was possible to propose a new discernment criterion, which we have called life in its integrality. By doing that it is possible to say that wherever human life, nature’s life and animal’ life are affirmed in its integrality, there it is the presence of God’s Spirit.
