SACRED GEOMETRY AND ISLMIC ARABESQUES a possible parallel

Abstract
The religious constructions in Islam link the regular patterns to a more spiritual sense. His artistic productions are presented socioculturally as noticeable records to evidence the strong relationship between the sacred and the geometric forms. In this sense, Islamic art sustains, in tangible life, the subjectivity that grows in Allah. At this moment, we cite the arabesques as the main illustration of this reality. In the Muslim world, the predominance of the notion of the impermanence of the human being, together with the experience of the infinite, projects two arabesques on art, making their link visible as transcendent. According to tradition, the arabesques are constituted by means of the regular repetition of an abstract, semi-abstract or partially figurative pattern, whose explicit symbology, by means of geometric forms, is a profound faith in the eternity of all being. For this reason, this communication aims to draw a brief parallel between the knowledge of sacred geometry and the studies linked to Islamic arabesques.
