Abstract
A violência, presente nas sociedades humanas, é objeto de estudos nos mais diversos espaços do planeta, assim como em variadas épocas. Cientistas, de áreas de conhecimentos às vezes divergentes vêm tentando provar a preponderância, sobre esse tema, ora do fator biológico, ora do mental e ainda o estudo do meio, como fator que poderia corromper o indivíduo. Uns tantos pesquisadores chegaram a associar alguns desses fatores, porém, eles nunca conseguem atingir uma conclusão perfeita, ou “verdadeira” para tais agressões. O Núcleo de Estudos de Gênero e Pesquisa sobre a Mulher da UFU- NEGUEM vem trabalhando os processos-crime cedidos pelo fórum Abelardo Penna com o intuito de integrar a pesquisa feita na universidade à comunidade construindo e recuperando parte da memória local.
