Abstract

O imperativo da velocidade na atual sociedade é tema de estudos em diferentes áreas de investigação. Característica básica dos processos comunicacionais realizados por meio da internet, a velocidade não apenas se torna condição de existência como se comporta como elemento influenciador na produção dos conteúdos digitais disponíveis na rede. Refletir sobre a sua influência na prática jornalística é o objetivo principal deste artigo, que se utiliza de diferentes autores que discorrem sobre o universo digital e sobre o fazer jornalístico, para garantir o suporte acadêmico necessário a essa reflexão. Por meio de levantamento bibliográfico este artigo, de caráter teórico, busca provocar no leitor uma inquietação sobre a relação entre velocidade, apuração e credibilidade do jornalismo no mundo da internet.
