ESTUDANDO O SAMBA: crítica musical e o estético-político no disco de Tom Zé

Abstract

Esse artigo se ocupa do estudo quanto ao regime estético conformado em torno do disco Estudando o Samba do músico baiano Tom Zé. Para tanto, apresenta um panorama descritivo do contexto de emergência e horizonte de expectativa social estabelecidos no ano de lançamento da obra (1976), propondo observar a historicidade e a circulação social da experiência estética com a obra a partir da análise dos comentários críticos redigidos nos jornais e revistas especializados em música. Visa questionar quais os valores chamados em causa na experiência com o álbum e quais as disputas sensíveis se apresentam nos argumentos críticos, a partir do conceito de partilha do sensível de Jacques Rancière.
