In Facebook pages created by residents of peripheral neighborhoods with the intention of exchanging hyperlocal information (NUNES, 2017) citizens who already share a geographic proximity, can also create multiterritories of information. Applying the ethnographic method to the Internet (HINE, 2015), this article analyzes how the processes of deterritorialization and reterritorialization of the subjects in the digital fields occur and what are the characteristics of the processes. For this, as a theoretical basis is used the perspective of Haesbaert (2014), Santos (2006) and Lemos (2007). It is concluded that the multiterritoriality occurs in personal profiles and pages and that the processes of reterritorialization happen due to the need to reinforce the idea of community and to seek the resolution of problems without depending on the public power.
