This article aims to reflect on the role of organizational context discourses, especially business leaders, in the construction of cultural violence in society, in the face of a pandemic crisis scenario. The study thinks about how the speech of these leaders influences the legitimation of violence. For this, we presented a theoretical discussion based on the relationship between studies for peace and the relational perspective of communication in the organizational context. From that, we realize an exploratory study about the pronouncement of the leader of Madero company. The reflections show the organizations' power of influence as a constitutive element of cultural violence, therefore, the importance of an educational process that stimulates sensitive behaviors for social relations.
