Abstract

This article presents the M3O tool, resulting from applied research in Organizational Communication. The empirical object was The Father Marcos Passerini Center for the Defense of Children and Adolescent's Rights, lso called Cedeca Padre Marcos Passerini or CDMP, located in São Luís, Maranhão, Brazil. The research followed the literature review - with contributions from the Communicative Constitution of Organization (CCO) - and documentary, participant observation, questionnaire, in-depth interview and adaptation of Canvas and focus group. In conclusion, the research demonstrates the use of organizational memory beyond the transmissive approach.

Author Biographies

Barbosa, Andréia da Silva, Federal University of Maranhão

I am Master in Communication from the Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA), Specialist in Project Management from  Getúlio Vargas Foundation, Specialist in Cultural Journalism from UFMA, and graduated in Social Communication - Public Relations (UFMA).

I worked with Public Policy and Communication Management, with emphasis in the areas of Human Rights and Childhood and Adolescence, having recently served as Supervisor of Protection of Threatened Persons, at the State Secretariat of Human Rights and Popular Participation (Sedihpop).

In addition, I had worked in the private sector, in civil society organizations and international organizations, such as UNICEF and UNESCO. I am part of the Research Group ETC - communication, technology and economics (UFMA/ CNPq).

Ramon Bezerra Costa, Federal University of Maranhão

PhD in Communication from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (PPGCOM/UERJ). Professor at the Department of Social Communication and at the Postgraduate Program in Communication (Professional Master's) at the Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA). Coordinator of the ETC Research Group (Communication, Technology and Economics), funded by the Foundation for Support to Research and Scientific and Technological Development of Maranhão (FAPEMA).
