Abstract

The Argentine researcher Marina Garone Gravier, in a book launched at the end of 2022 by Eduvim Publisher, brings together thirteen researchers of the history of the book and Latin American publishing to discuss both the origins of editorial production practices, reading, and writing on the continent, as well as their historical development and present challenges. The book gathers investigations from different parts of Latin America, which allow for a panoramic view of distinct realities, but with relevant convergences in terms of processes and techniques. The work, which aims to contribute to a regional history, strengthens the interdisciplinary field of the history of the book and publishing.
