Abstract
A Organização Sathya Sai Baba surgiu na Índia, em 1967, com o intuito de divulgar e estimular a prática dos ensinamentos do líder espiritual indiano Sai Baba. Nesses 40 anos de existência, a Organização se espalhou pelo mundo, estando hoje presente em 135 países, entre eles o Brasil. Tendo como elementos centrais a tríade “Devoção, Educação e Serviço”, os ensinamentos de Sai Baba e as práticas adotadas pela Organização estimulam interessantes reflexões sobre esses aspectos que são centrais para a vivência religiosa ocidental. Neste trabalho, procuramos sintetizar os principais conceitos que fundamentam essa tríade e realizamos uma análise do significado dessas propostas dentro do debate hoje existente sobre o estabelecimento de uma linguagem religiosa universal.
