Through an interdisciplinary discussion involving the areas of Social Communication and Education, the article aims to propose transmedia projects in Basic Education from the areas of Pedagogy, Arts, Biology and Sociology. The transmedia storytelling, derived from Social Communication, is conceptualized with those stories that expand to multiple platforms. When transposing this scenario to the Education area, it is noticed that it can contribute to the teaching and learning process by awakening the student's engagement with content through different media. All the examples exposed in this study open different possibilities and proposals that serve not only for Basic Education, but for any educational level.
