Abstract

It Must Be Heaven (2019), directed, scripted and starring Elia Suleiman, is a work that portrays Palestine, but with scenes set outside this place, leading us to the understanding that there is, in the director’s words, a palestinianisation of the world. Based on the axes of identity, territory, violence and globalization, this text intends to identify, through the analysis of film material, relationships between the issues developed by the film and its reflection around the reterritorialization and palestinianisation of the contemporary world.
