Abstract

This paper aims to discuss the dynamics of tackling LGBTQIAP+phobias in soccer based on the Instagram posts of Marias de Minas, a collective of LGBTQIAP+ fans of Cruzeiro Esporte Clube. The aim is to understand how these actions are established in this environment and beyond. As a time frame, the publications shared between June 2022 and June 2023 will be observed, June being LGBTQIAP+ Pride month. Consideration will be given to the history of other LGBTQIAP+ fans in Brazil, such as the now defunct Coligay, from Grêmio, and their presence in stadiums; as well as the relationship with those that are currently articulated through social media platforms, especially Instagram.
