an analysis of the presence of themes and sources in regional communication

Abstract

This text, through the literature of social movements and communication, discusses which are the feminist actresses and the most frequent agendas about feminism present in the two largest news portals in the capital of Pará, O Liberal.com and DOL. The content analysis focuses on the years 2019 to 2022 and focuses on 41 texts, through quantitative-qualitative content analysis. The results point to the recurrent presence of sources linked to universities, such as researchers and professors, and few feminist movements in the popular field, as well as the themes of violence and body image as the most present in the corpus.
