The special issue "Media, Gender, and Sport" is the result of a partnership between professors Ana Carolina Vimieiro (UFMG) and Tatiane Hilgemberg (UFRR), researchers from the Marta Collective – Research Group on Communication and Sports Cultures. This edition focuses on the relationships between gender and sports in the field of Communication, based on media apparatuses and interactional and relational perspectives.
